Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, and continue to our hotel, situated on the outskirts of Paris.
Optional excursion to Versailles, home to the famous château and gardens. Originally created for Louis XIV, the Château of Versailles has been a member of the UNESCO World Heritage list for over 30 years.
You can choose to admire the magnificent gardens or spend time exploring the interior of the château. No expense was spared in the creation of the sumptuously decorated palace, best known for its Hall of Mirrors.
If visiting the gardens, enjoy a relaxing stroll along Versailles’ own Grand Canal, or why not discover the many fountains and pools, some of which are fine examples of sculpture.
If you choose to visit the palace then there are various types of admission tickets available depending on what areas you would like to see. (Château entrance is at extra cost and subject to local queueing times. Ticket prices vary depending on the type of ticket you purchase, but approximate cost is between €18 and €27). We do not recommend advance ticket purchase, as itineraries can be subject to last-minute change for operational reasons. (We are not able to provide assistance with independent ticket arrangements).
The optional excursions will be available to book during your tour.
Prices are per person and are subject to change. Payment will be in Euros (cash payments only).
Enjoy a visit to Monet’s Garden at Giverny. The perspectives, symmetries and colours of the flower garden and water garden were the inspiration for some of his most famous works.
The artist lived here from 1883 until his death in 1926, and today his house and in particular the gardens, made famous by his painting of the water lilies, have been restored to Monet’s original designs.
Included visit to Paris, without question one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Known worldwide as the City of Light, Paris has been a major tourist destination for centuries.
The city is renowned for the beauty of its architecture, as well as the wealth of its museums. Built on an arc of the River Seine, it is divided into two parts, the Right Bank to the north and the smaller Left Bank to the south.
See the many famous sights of the city, including the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, the majestic boulevard of the Champs Elysees, the splendour of the Place de Concorde and the Cathedral of Notre Dame.Join our optional guided tour to see the best of the sights.

Travel, drivers and guides plus all connections and services were excellent. Excursions good but exceptionally busy in the summer months. Versailles is a must and Monets Gardens and house were superb. Hotel, welcoming and very clean. The only problem, was that the chef was on leave and evening meals were not to a good standard, with no choice at all.

Mixed feelings about this holiday! You get to visit three popular tourist attractions in a short space of time without having to worry about transport, petrol, etc,. However, two of the trips had extra costs if you wanted to do additional tours. Also the amount of time at Monet ‘s garden was extremely short compared to the other days, which was disappointing as we primarily went see the garden and chateau, we felt we were clock watching and there was so much to see you could have spent a whole day there! The most disappointing part of the holiday was the hotel. It was basic and rather neglected in places. There was an outside seating area but it was overgrown with weeds and sun loungers were stacked up the side obviously unused for some time as was an old worn table tennis table! The food was awful and many of the coach party complained and sort meals elsewhere, if you have special dietary requirements it’s definitely not for you! However, the shearings drivers were friendly and experienced drivers who made the journey feel relaxed and safe.

Poor communication about getting in to Versailles Palace- no information about having to book in advance so unable to go to see inside. No choice of meal at hotel. Very limited communication by drivers. Uncomfortable coach. Hotel was clean and comfortable and friendly staff. Trips good other than not seeing Palace. Unlikely to use again.
